Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC
then and now.
Once dismissed as a simple wine, today Vienna’s pride. For generations, our house has been producing this wine style from Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Rotgipfler and Zierfandler grapes. Planted, harvested and vinified together – this field blend bundles the characters of several expressive grape varieties and makes it unique in its aroma. With the vintage 2013, Wiener Gemischter Satz was awarded the status of a DAC – a protected designation of origin. It is one of the Austrian wines with the longest tradition and a part of Vienna’s identity as a wine-growing city.
